Data We Collect

• Email address (for account login)
• Username (publicly visible)
• Rain measurements (date, amount)
• Location data (coordinates of your measurement locations)
• If you sign in with Google or Facebook: only the email address of that account

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide Lluvias services. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Data Storage

Your data is stored on servers. We implement reasonable technical measures but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You can request information about, correction of, or deletion of your stored data at any time. How to delete your account and data is explained in the next section.

Deleting Your Account and Data

You can delete your Lluvias account and all associated data at any time, free of charge and without giving a reason. There are three ways to do this:

1. In the Android app: Open Settings, tap "Delete Account" under "Danger Zone" at the very bottom, and confirm.
2. On the website: Sign in at lluvias.app, open Settings, click "Delete Account" at the very bottom, and confirm.
3. By email: If you can no longer sign in, write to us from the email address of your account (or include that address) with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete your account and all data within 30 days and confirm the deletion by email. [email protected]

This deletes your account (email address, username, settings, map center), all your places with their rain measurements, place shares, shared statistics links, achievements, login sessions, push notification registrations, and the history of reminders and notifications sent to you. Error logs are kept but are no longer linked to you. Rain you recorded at a place another user shared with you belongs to that place and stays there without any link to you. Deletion in the app or on the website takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

If you signed in with Facebook: removing Lluvias under "Apps and websites" in your Facebook settings only ends the connection between Lluvias and your Facebook account. To delete the data stored by Lluvias, use one of the three ways above.
